I’ve been hinting for weeks now that August is the wildest month we’ve had astrologically since 2020. The winds of change are blowing in every direction, and this week is when the hurricane finally hits land.
On the 14th, a wave of chaos rises when action planet Mars teams up with expansive Jupiter for their once in two year conjunction. With both planets in Gemini, expect sensational news and tantalizing gossip. They say actions speak louder than words but under this transit, the words are the actions. Mars-Jupiter aspects usually move things forward quickly, but on the 16th, Mars squares off with steady Saturn as if to say, “hey not so fast.” A challenge identified in April reaches a turning point. Time to push through it or break away.
Mercury retrograde moves back into Leo on the 14th, retracing steps taken and conversations initiated in mid-July. Mercury in Leo has a lot of pride, and can be rigid in its mindset. Something that felt fluid and easy last week gets much harder to negotiate under this influence. If it can wait, September is a much better time to make a deal.
