Young business minds from our area will showcase their talents and entrepreneurial skills at thefirst annual the Kid’s Business Fair this Saturday, Mar. 1, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon at Les & Jim’s Lincoln Lanes in Merrill.
The event, hosted in partnership with the Merrill Optimist Club, will include area youth ages 5-17 selling products they’ve created themselves—including baked goods, jewelry, soaps, freeze-dried candies, mystery bags, doll clothes, slime, popcorn, and art kits.
“By attending, you’re not just shopping—you’re encouraging and inspiring the next generation of business owners. These kids have put in countless hours creating their products, designing their booths, and learning valuable skills,” said an event organizer. “This fair gives them real-world business experience while connecting with the community.”
The Kid’s Business Fair aims to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, while offering a unique shopping opportunity for local residents.
