WWE star Jade Cargill has signed with Paradigm‘s newly launched The Sports Group for representation in all areas, Variety has learned exclusively.
Cargill is the latest WWE wrestler to sign with Paradigm, joining the likes of Drew McIntyre, Liv Morgan, Tiffany Stratton, Damian Priest, and CM Punk.
Cargill has only been in the pro wrestling business since 2020, but she has quickly made a name for herself and risen to the top of the industry. She began her career in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), feuding with many top stars before capturing the TBS Championship just over a year after her debut. She held that championship for 508 days and achieved a 60-match unbeaten streak in her time with AEW.
In 2023, the internet was set ablaze when it was reported that Cargill was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. A video of her arrival at the Performance Center was viewed more than 20 million times.
Not long after, WWE officially announced that Cargill had signed with the company. She made several onscreen appearances in the coming months teasing her in-ring debut, which finally happened in January 2024 at the “Royal Rumble.” Cargill entered the battle royal towards the end, successfully eliminating stars like Nia Jax and Becky Lynch. The match also saw her engage in a much talked about staredown with Bianca Belair.
Cargill would go on to team with Belair, with the two capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in May 2024. They lost the titles at “Clash at the Castle: Scotland” in June, but regained them at “Bash in Berlin” in August and have held them ever since.
Cargill has a master’s degree in child psychology and worked as a child psychologist until 2019. She has also worked as a fitness model approximately 2 million followers across her Instagram, TikTok, and X accounts. Cargill and her husband, former Cincinnati Reds all-star Brandon Phillips, are the owners of the Women’s Professional Fastpitch team the Texas Smoke.
