WS Development‘s Chestnut Hill shopping center expansion opens Thursday, featuring more than 25 new retailers.

Tenants are ready for business at The Street Chestnut Hill‘s 90K SF expansion at 27 Boylston St., the developer announced Wednesday. New retailers include Alo Yoga, Arc’teryx, Marine Layer, Roller Rabbit and Reformation.

“It is a testament to The Street’s evolution as a lifestyle destination that further amplifies our unparalleled collection of retail and fashion, new and popular culinary concepts, health and wellness offerings, and local businesses,” The Street Chestnut Hill General Manager Paige Steinberg said in a statement.

The new renovation, which includes community gathering space, is spread across three floors and connects two sides of the retail property. The owner also plans to hold an opening celebration on Saturday that will feature live music, fitness and promotions.

The project also includes some office space that will be occupied by Coldwell Banker Realty, Hammond Residential Real Estate, Weiner Ventures and New England OB/GYN Associates.

WS Development announced the renovation in 2022. The site was home to an AMC movie theater that closed in 2013. WS has signed Showcase Cinema SuperLux to open a cinema in another part of the complex.

The site already has 40 tenants, including OddFellows Ice Cream Co., Shake Shack, Blue Bottle Coffee, Warby Parker and Chilacates.
