Boston College continues its impressive season as it stands at No. 2 in the USCHO Division I poll.
The Eagles have played to a 14-4-1 record, most recently taking down Harvard on Tuesday. Up next is a two-game set against Hockey East rival Providence. These two teams met earlier this season in Rhode Island where the Eagles won 3-2 in overtime.
This round will be a split series with the first of two games in Massachusetts and the second in Rhode Island.
Providence is mammoth of a team itself. The Friars are sixth in the nation on the USCHO poll and even earned one first-place vote. With a 15-3-2 record, the team poses a legitimate threat to Boston College and the Hockey East title.
This will be one of the top college hockey matchups of the season as these two teams battle for positioning in the national and Hockey East standings.
