ST. PETERSBURG — The Chick-fil-A on Tyrone Boulevard is relocating, but only just down the street.
In an email, Chick-fil-A, Inc. said the new store being built at the Crossroads Shopping Center at 2190 Tyrone Blvd. N. is planned to open this summer.
The current location at 2741 Tyrone Blvd. N. will remain open until construction on the new one is complete, the company said.
The new location was previously the site of TGI Friday’s, but that restaurant’s building was demolished to make way for Chick-fil-A.
There is still construction happening, but the new building is up and has signs on it.
It looks like there will be a double drive-thru, which is partially covered and will exit near 22nd Avenue.
Among the other tenants in the Crossroads Center are Starbucks, Home Depot, TJ Maxx, Ulta and Burlington Coat Factory.
