On Saturday, the Westfield/Brocton soccer team hosted the annual Kevin White Day at the NorthLake Family Recreation Center. Kevin was a 2006 graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School, a member of the soccer team, as well as other sports, and made the ultimate sacrifice in service to his country on May 2, 2011, in Afghanistan. Pictured above are Kevin’s parents, Paul and Patty White, surrounded by this year’s varsity soccer team. Organizers wished to thank the Westfield American Legion Post 327 Honor Guard and Gianna Douglas for the singing of the national anthem.
