After months of construction, the Weis Gas N Go — located at the intersection of Commerce Street and Bellefonte Avenue — is open for business. The construction fencing was officially taken down late last week, and the pumps were up and operating over the weekend. The 3-unit gas station features six fueling locations, an air pump station and small kiosk operated by an employee. The station accepts Weis points and has the same operating hours as the neighboring Weis Markets — Sunday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. During the construction, James Alley — which runs between the gas station and grocery store, was widened to accommodate two lanes of traffic. The alley improvement was recently OKed by Lock Haven City Council at its meeting on Monday, June 3.
