Dunkirk Mayor Kate Wdowiasz will release her 2025 budget proposals at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the conference room at City Hall.
Wdowiasz said at the Common Council meeting earlier this week that she tentatively planned to release them today. Instead, it will be next week.
The mayor has said she will release two spending plans. One will allow the city to keep all existing services, but tax up to the limit imposed by the state Constitution. The other budget will tax up to the lower, state Legislature-imposed tax cap, but would slash services.
