TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Plans are in the works for a wide-ranging event this fall that promises “an experience!”
Jodine Romano is planning The Experience, and visited Eye on NE Kansas to explain what it’s all about.
The Experience is a Sip, Shop, Comedy & Music event taking place Noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 7 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 8 at Hotel Topeka and Maner Conference Ctr.
Romano said vendors will highlight the event. She is still signing up interested participants, particularly small businesses.
Beyond that, a comedy night featuring Mr. Showtime David Scott will highlight the evening of Sept. 7. Doors open at 6 p.m., with a 7 p.m. showtime.
Tickets for the Sip and Shop are $10 for one day or $15 for both. Comedy show tickets are $25 for the show only, or $45 for a ticket that includes hors d’oeuvres and a drink.
