National law firm Husch Blackwell has been named in the U.S. News & World Report’s list of the Best Company to Work For: Law Firms edition. Husch Blackwell is one of only 232 law firms nationwide to earn the Best Companies to Work for distinction.
This year’s list builds on U.S. News’ “Best Companies to Work For” series by analyzing how individual law firms meet the needs and expectations of their attorneys and business professionals compared to their competitors. The list considers quality of pay and benefits, work-life balance, job stability, physical and psychological comfort, belongingness, and opportunities for professional development.
In April 2024, Husch Blackwell launched HB In-House in April 2024, a one-of-a-kind professional development program designed to help attorneys gain a deeper understanding of in-house roles, enhance the firm’s ability to serve its clients more effectively, and provide career development opportunities for attorneys interested in transitioning to corporate counsel roles. In addition, the firm was named a finalist in four categories in The American Lawyer’s 2024 industry awards.
To calculate the U.S. News Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms list, U.S. News partnered with Leopard Solutions and Revelio Labs, which gathered relevant data, including employee sentiment and legal market research, to calculate the six metrics used in the list. Only firms that are included in Leopard Solutions’ database were considered for the list. Additionally, each firm had to have a minimum of 10 U.S.-based Glassdoor reviews written between 2020-2023.
