ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University’s online offerings were awarded distinction in the latest U.S. News & World Report’s college rankings, as five of its programs were tabbed “Best Online Programs” by the highly-respected digital media company. Its 2025 rankings were announced on Tuesday.
U.S. News, in its 13th year collecting and analyzing data specific to online learning, evaluated more than 1,600 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. The rankings were calculated using factors such as student engagement, faculty credentials and services and technologies.
Ashland stood out in comparison to its peers across Ohio and was recognized in the following categories:
- Best Online Bachelor’s Programs – No. 6 in Ohio, 160th of 350 nationally ranked
- Best Online Bachelor’s in Business Programs – No. 8 in Ohio, one of 218 nationally ranked
- Best Online MBA Programs – No. 10 in Ohio, 150th of 355 nationally ranked
- Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans – No. 6 in Ohio, one of 102 nationally ranked
- Best Online Master’s in Education Programs – No. 8 in Ohio, 114th of 313 nationally ranked
