A list of the nation’s best hospitals included two San Gabriel Valley hospitals, according to U.S. News & World Report.
The 2024-2025 Best Hospitals analysis named Huntington Health Medical Center-Pasadena and Baldwin Park Medical Center, as top 25 hospitals in the Los Angeles region.
According to a news release, the high performing distinction went to hospitals in the top 10% to 20% for at least one or more of 35 specialties, conditions and procedures.
The report calculated the rankings based off risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and level of nursing care.
