ELLICOTT – Two people face charges after a drug bust this morning on Bentley Avenue in Ellicott.
Demetrie D. Williams, 24, Tayler J. Treadway, 28, were charged after two adults and two children were found inside 2892 Bentley Ave., Ellicott, when members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 5:50 a.m. today with assistance from the Jamestown Police Department SWAT team.
Treadway, Utegg and two children were found inside the residence where detectives found 6.5 grams of crack cocaine, 1.7 grams of cocaine hydrochloride, a digital scale and packaging materials. During the search, Williams arrived to the residence and was detained as a part of the search warrant. William swas searched and found to be in possession of 12.2 grams of crack cocaine and $116.
Williams was charged with two counts third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminally using drug
paraphernalia. He was taken to the Jamestown City Jail pending his transfer to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. Treadwell had an outstanding arrest warrant for third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
