Rehoboth Avenue in Rehoboth Beach and Second Street in Lewes are among America’s top 150 main streets for Christmas shopping, according to a new poll.
Present.com’s 3,000-person survey put Rehoboth Avenue at 54 and Second Street at 142. They were the only Delaware locations to make the list.
There’s a lot to love about Rehoboth Avenue and Second Street, starting with the fact that at Christmastime, there are no parking fees. Both streets are walkable, quaint and offer independent businesses with unique merchandise, as well as some fantastic restaurants.
In Rehoboth Beach, there’s Browseabout Books, Sierra Moon and Lilla Cavallo, to name a few. Some Lewes examples include Twila Farrell, Biblion Books and Kids’ Ketch.
“Rehoboth Avenue lights up for the holidays, with local boutiques, cozy cafes, and a charming coastal setting that create a festive and inviting shopping experience,” a Present.com news release said. “Lewes’ Second Street captures the holiday spirit with quaint shops, maritime charm, and local artisans offering unique gifts that make for memorable Christmas shopping.”

- Park Avenue, Winter Park, Florida
