NORTH BRUNSWICK – A lease commitment by national fast-casual restaurant brand Tropical Smoothie Café will bring a new dining option to Brunswick Shopping Center.
North Plainfield-based Levin Management Corporation (LMC) serves as leasing and managing agent for the 288,000-square-foot property, located just off Route 1 on Milltown Road.
The negotiation of the 1,700-square-foot transaction was done by LMC’s Jennifer Harrison, senior leasing representative, and Fred Younkin, leasing representative, on behalf of property ownership; The tenant was represented by Sean Pyle and Dina Santarelli of SABRE.
Tropical Smoothie Café currently has more than 1,400 locations across the United States. Menu offerings include fresh, made-to-order smoothies; acai, chia and yogurt bowls; and wraps, salads, sandwiches and flatbreads. The restaurant was founded in 1997.
“With the growing interest in healthy diets among many consumers, Tropical Smoothie Café adds another great option to the food offerings at Brunswick Shopping Center,” said Harrison in a news release. The property also includes McDonald’s, Kanoon Restaurant, Rita’s Italian Ice and a bagel shop. “Tropical Smoothie Café is a leader in its segment, and we are pleased to bring this nationally recognized concept to the community,” Harrison said in the news release.

LMC is currently marketing space availabilities from 2,800 to 21,000 square feet at Brunswick Shopping Center.
