Trackman extends partnership with CPG

Must read

TrackMan and the Confederation of Professional Golf have announced the continuation of their partnership, strengthening a shared commitment to world-class education and innovation in golf, both on, and off, the course.

Under this renewed collaboration, TrackMan and CPG will work to identify opportunities to link professionals to off-course activity and the non-traditional golfer that is becoming more and more prevalent around the world.

This off-course movement needs to be a key part of professionals’ and coaches’ business mix, and TrackMan’s various means for coaching and playing away from the traditional methods can provide hugely valuable and exciting opportunities for PGAs and their Members to maximise.

TrackMan will also work closely with the CPG Learning Institute to deliver webinars, workshops, and new educational content, empowering golf professionals to harness the latest technological advancements.

In addition, TrackMan University certifications will be integrated into individual learning records, allowing graduates to showcase their achievements on the CPG’s new digital membership card. This streamlined system recognises and celebrates ongoing professional development, underscoring the crucial role of technology-driven training in modern golf coaching and performance.

“TrackMan’s dedication to delivering cutting-edge coaching tools aligns perfectly with our focus on providing tangible value and education for our Member Countries,” said CPG CEO, Ian Randell. “Together, we are ensuring that golf professionals remain at the forefront of the sport’s evolving needs with great opportunities to learn, earn and play their part in developing and future-proofing the sport.”

TrackMan’s partnership with the CPG has already laid a solid foundation for innovative education and tournament opportunities, plus has resulted in multiple national collaborative agreements with the likes of the PGA of Belgium and the PGA of Holland. Building on this success, the extended collaboration will further enhance international learning events, help golf coaches refine their skills, and ensure golf professionals can better serve players who are engaging with new and different forms of the sport on a TrackMan Range or in the simulator bay.

“Continuing our work with the CPG is a natural progression,” commented Mike Malone, VP Sales EMEA at TrackMan. “Through the TrackMan University certification and the CPG Learning Institute platform, we’re providing accessible, technology-powered development opportunities to educate golf professionals, whilst being able to emphasise the new opportunities that come from TrackMan system usage on the range, in the teaching bay, or at the simulator venue.”
