In the 8th century BC, the ancient Greeks participated in a series of inter-city athletic competitions to honor Zeus. Over 2,000 years later, the Olympic Games include countries all across the planet competing in everything from classic events like distance running to newcomer events like breakdancing.
After an exciting Saturday of competition that saw Texans like swimmer Simone Manuel take home medals, gymnast Hezly Rivera and USWNT member Jaedyn Shaw will be competing.
Below you’ll find streaming/broadcast info, a schedule of events for today, when Texans are competing and links to our coverage.
