JACKSON, Tenn.–Three West Tennessee communities are the recipients of more than $3.3 million for infrastructure projects through States’ Economic Development Assistance Program (SEDAP).
According to the Delta Regional Authority, in collaboration with the State of Tennessee, funding for this program is made available, in part, by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law signed by President Biden.
The award recipients in West Tennessee include:
-The City of Henderson, awarded more than $80,000 to complete a water system improvement project.
-The City of Lexington, awarded nearly $260,000 to support a road connection project that will lead to the future site of the Tennessee College of applied technology and provide additional access to the Timberlake Industrial Park.
-The Selmer/McNairy County Industrial Development Board, awarded more than $2.5 million for an infrastructure expansion project within the North Industrial Park.
