U.S. News & World Report today released its 2025 Best Online Programs rankings. Three Marquette programs are recognized among the top 55 nationally.
The Master of Business Administration program saw the most dramatic rise, moving from No. 217 in 2024 to No. 55 this year. The program was also ranked in the top 20 in three specialty rankings: No. 15 in marketing, No. 17 in finance and No. 19 in general management (leadership).
Marquette’s Master’s in Computer and Information Science program is ranked No. 21, marking a third straight year in the top 25. The College of Nursing’s online program is ranked 53rd.
The U.S. News & World Report Online Programs rankings do not utilize standardized tests, instead relying on factors such as faculty credentials and training, services and technology available to students, student engagement and expert opinions on the academic quality of programs. Master’s degree programs, in addition to these criteria, are also ranked based on an assessment of student excellence via undergraduate GPAs, acceptance rates and work experience.
