Nikesh Arora is an Indian-origin CEO in the United States with salary higher than Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Business Today reported.
Arora, the CEO of Palo Alto Networks, a cybersecurity company, was named among the “top 10 highest earning CEOs in the US” in a recent report by Jeff Bezos’s Wall Street Journal.
He trailed behind Broadcom’s CEO Hock Tan who topped the list.
According to the report, Arora’s compensation is $151.43 million while Zuckerberg has $24.40 million and Pichai has $8.8 million.
After receiving education from renowned institutes in India and the US, the 56-year-old CEO worked with Google as Chief Business Officer, where he became the highest paid executive in 2012.
He worked at Google with a $51 million package. By the time he left the tech giant, he had collected stock awards worth $200 million.
He also worked at Softbank as president and chief operating officer, where his compensation was $135 million, according to a report by Bloomberg.
He has been heading Palo Alto for six years now.
