TGL presented by SoFi, the new, prime time team golf league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports that gets under way in Florida today (January 7), has announced audit, tax and advisory firm KPMG as the Official Performance Insights and Analytics Provider.

The KPMG Performance Insights program, which provides data insights and advanced performance analytics, will be used for all TGL matches.

“The opportunity to partner with TGL was a natural fit for KPMG, as the basis of this competition is a fusion of technology and golf,” said Shawn Quill, National Sports Industry Leader for KPMG. “We have invested in the sport of golf for years, bringing the latest technology to the game, and are eager to work with TGL to share predictive, analytics-based insights that will further illustrate how teams are performing in this unique environment.”

“KPMG have been stalwarts in business and in golf by advising world-class organizations on how to use analytics to shape their business and inform their decisions. TGL presented by SoFi is utilizing technology on an unprecedented scale and will generate a ton of data, providing opportunities for KPMG to help us share insights on how players are performing in the competition,” said Jason Langwell, Chief Revenue Officer, TMRW Sports.

KPMG’s official partnership includes broadcast and digital activation platforms throughout the season.

KPMG is TGL’s twelfth official partner, joining presenting partner SoFi; founding partners Genesis, Businessolver, Best Buy; and additional official partners CapTech, Full Swing, ONEFlight, Samsung, SYNLawn and FanDuel.
