Proudly touting its achievements, Telefónica announces attaining five specializations in Google Cloud, spanning Workspace for Enterprise, Infrastructure, Application Development, Data Analytics, and Cloud Migration. Additionally, the company has clinched Google Cloud’s Managed Service Provider status, underscoring its prowess in leveraging cloud services.

Looking ahead, Telefónica and Google Cloud are gearing up for a series of innovation projects, spanning AI, Gen AI, MLOps, accelerated computing infrastructure for AI, Web3, blockchain, quantum, and edge computing. The partnership also extends to supporting startups through Telefónica’s corporate venture capital arm, Wayra, in their technology-driven endeavors.

Enrique Blanco, Telefónica Global CTIO, emphasizes the significance of the extended partnership, citing Google Cloud’s pivotal role in shaping Telefónica’s future services and processes. Tara Brady, President of Google Cloud EMEA, echoes this sentiment, highlighting the shared vision and trust between the two entities.

This latest collaboration comes hot on the heels of Telefónica Tech’s recent agreement with Microsoft, further solidifying Telefónica’s commitment to harnessing cutting-edge technology.
