Huawei says it has made huge strides, from operating systems to AI
Huawei’s proprietary operating system, HarmonyOS, was launched in 2019 after US technology restrictions severed its access to Google’s support for the Android operating system used in smartphones. Richard Yu, chairman of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group, stated that what the company has achieved in 10 years took its European and American counterparts more than 30 years to accomplish.
