Steel Tariffs May Hit U.S. Natural Gas Infrastructure, Squeeze North American Economies

Must read

President Trump has announced a 25% levy on all aluminum and steel coming into the country, including from leading suppliers Canada and Mexico, raising concerns about rising energy sector costs.

New York Mercantile Exchange natural gas futures prices for March delivery were up about 15.0 cents on Monday at midday to $3.460/MMBtu because of what were seen as bullish factors largely driven by colder weather. NGI’s spot National Avg. midday natural gas price was up 20.5 cents day/day at $4.390 Monday.
