Jac-Cen-Del bested North Decatur 40-37 in C team boys basketball last night in Osgood.

It was St. Louis over St. Nicholas 25-13 in boys 6th grade hoops.

The Bengals got past the Dallas Cowboys 27-20 on Monday Night Football. Joe Burrow’s 40 yard touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase with one minute left in the game won it for Cincinnati. The winning score was set up when the Cowboys blocked a Bengals punt and then touched the ball, which was recovered by Cincinnati at their own 43 with 1:53 remaining. Three plays later, Burrow hit Chase with the game-winning touchdown pass. Burrow was 33-of-44 passing for 369 yards and three touchdowns plus an interception. Chase finished with 177 yards on 14 catches and two TDs. With the win, the Bengals snap a three-game losing streak and improve to 5-8.

Tennessee is the new #1 in the AP Top 25 College Basketball rankings. Auburn is second, followed by Iowa State, Duke and Kentucky to to round out the top five. Purdue falls three spots to #11. UC drops eight spots to #22.
