Prep volleyball: District 1 tournaments
5 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Meridian High School

Some of the top 1A and 2A volleyball teams in the state will be taking over Diane Axelson Court at Meridian High School throughout the week. Although the tournaments run from Nov. 2–9, Nov. 5 will feature the 1A district championship and 2A consolation semifinals.

Western’s men’s basketball season tips off at home against Cal State Dominguez Friday, Nov. 8. The Vikings, who added 10 new players this season, are projected to finish seventh in the Great Athletic Northwest Conference this season.

Cat Yoga
6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 at NEKO Cat Cafe

Join the cats at NEKO Cate Cafe for Intuitive Flow Yoga. The 45-minute class is suitable for all levels and is followed by 30 minutes spent with the cats and beer. In addition, more than 20 adoptable cats will be at the event.
