COLUMBIA — Saturday’s Week 3 game at South Carolina has all the ingredients necessary for a fantastic college football game.

South Carolina football vs LSU is being featured on ESPN’s “College GameDay” causing excitement for fans, in addition to raising the stakes of the game given the national spotlight. The Gamecocks (2-0, 1-0 SEC) are coming off a road win over Kentucky last week, and the Tigers (1-1) look to continue to make positive strides after losing Week 1 in the final seconds to Southern Cal.

It’s been 10 years since South Carolina was featured on GameDay and it’s been 30 years since the Gamecocks last beat LSU.

Between loud fans, competitive play, and a battle between two star edge rushers and two star offensive tackles, Saturday’s game should be a showdown in Columbia.

Kickoff in Williams-Brice Stadium is scheduled for 12:12 p.m. ET (ABC), following the conclusion of “College GameDay” at noon.
