SkyCaddie’s ‘Perfect Ten’ wins on Legends Tour

Must read

Ten winners out of the first ten eligible events this season, on the Legends Tour, used SkyCaddie GPS for their yardages.

Ten Legends who managed their A-game – and won – with SkyCaddie’s completely trusted course data, enabled by the company’s legendarily painstaking on-foot mapping process.

Brazil’s Adilson Da Silva pipped England’s Peter Baker in last weekend’s European Legends Cup at Golf Almerimar in Spain, after making birdie on the first playoff hole.

The two had tied at -9, two shots ahead of the field, with Baker shooting a scorching final round 65 to set up the dramatic finish.

The win is Da Silva’s second on the Legends Tour in 2024, and it propels him to first place in the annual Legends Tour Race To Mauritius Order Of Merit, ahead of Richard Green, Peter Baker, Scott Hend and Joakim Haeggmann.

The entire Top Ten in this year’s Order Of Merit use SkyCaddie GPS – another perfect ten for SkyCaddie!

Barring something remarkable in the final few events of the season, it is already likely that the 2024 Order Of Merit winner on the Legends Tour will be a SkyCaddie user – which would be the fourth successive winning season for the sport’s most-trusted GPS distance measurement device brand.

“Winners use SkyCaddie GPS to get their yardages” said SkyCaddie’s James Holmes. “We are devoted to producing accurate course data and professional-quality features, and as each year on the Legends Tour goes by, the evidence mounts that SkyCaddie has helped the professional game to enter a new era of on-course technology.

“Where Tour players lead, club golfers follow. We expect more SkyCaddie GPS users than ever before will be getting a big advantage in club competitions throughout this winter and into the 2025 season!”

SkyCaddie is the official distance measurement device on the Legends Tour Presented By Staysure. Formerly known as the European Senior Tour, the Legends Tour is the most prestigious professional Tour in the world which allows the use of DMDs during tournament play.

Tour officials use SkyCaddie’s ground-mapped GPS yardages to create pin sheets when setting each day’s pins. Legends Tour competitors can download the day’s accurate hole positions onto their SkyCaddies, and can also get a printed pin sheet for the day.
