Savvy shoppers know that if you want to make the most of Prime Day, you need to look beyond Amazon. As with years past, other big box retailers are coming for Amazon. The Walmart competitor Prime Day sale officially kicks off at 12 p.m. ET on October 8. And while Walmart might not be able to match the sheer breadth of Prime Big Deal Days—or October Prime Day—we have found a number of deals that are even lower on Walmart than Amazon.
After comparing prices on popular smart home, gaming, and grooming gadgets at both Amazon and Walmart, we found the top Walmart deals that beat Bezos. Amazon may have huge markdowns on its own devices, but Walmart is undercutting the everything store on products from Samsung, Google Nest, and Dyson, among others.
So, if you want to get the lowest price on a Dyson cordless stick vacuum, a 65″ Samsung QLED TV, or the popular Google Nest Smart Thermostat, you’ll need to open a new tab and head to Walmart. To get the deals, you’ll need a Walmart+ membership to get access to some of these exclusive deals (members also get early access), but you can sign up for a free 30-day trial to test the waters.
