Highsnobiety

International fashion and media brand Highsnobiety, known for its streetwear and sneakers, was born in Berlin (and recently acquired by German online retailer Zalando) and debuted a flagship store bringing its online marketplace into the brick-and-mortar world. The industrial space in a 20th-century office building is a work of art, co-created with architecture studio VAUST, designed of neutral sanded concrete, an ideal setting for the tightly curated selection of men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, bags, and lifestyle items. Brands include Wales Bonner, Acne Studios, Birkenstock, Y-3, JACQUEMUS, Dries Van Noten, and its Highsnobiety collection. 

Voo Store

Voo Store, housed in a former locksmith studio, features local and international designers and products through the lens of modern design, visual culture and contemporary fashion. With their team touching every product firsthand, they bring 5 to 10 new designers each season and balance up-and-comers with luxury and streetwear. Labels include Ottolinger, Acne Studios, Prada, Helmut Lang, Isa Boulder and KNWLS. An upcycling archive project, deli, and gallery space are within the Voo-niverse.

Endyma

Endyma is a Berlin-based fashion archive, historical garment collection, research endeavor and shop that preserves and showcases significant fashion from the ’80s and ’90s. Helmut Lang is perhaps the most well-known German fashion designer, and Endyma’s Berlin showroom houses the world’s most extensive collection of the designer, with 3,000 objects. You must make an appointment to check it out. Only certain pieces are for sale, but it’s a must-see for anyone who loves that era’s street style.

Celebrating its 10th birthday and located in Berlin’s Soho House, the two-story shop offers a tight edit of fashion, furniture, music, art and books — a good pop-in while exploring Berlin’s House. Shop curator Alex Eagle’s brand and jewelry by Panconesi and luxury labels like Burberry and Bottega. No matter what you are looking for (or not), it all looks different in this ultra-shoppable experience.

Berlin is a leader in vegan and sustainable textiles, and one brand taking that to the next level is Luckynelly. Its accessories are made from innovative materials such as apple skin, mushroom leather, coconut leather and cactus leather. In 2023, Luckynelly won a Green Product Award for its Amy bag, made from strawberries. Bonus: You will never find someone with the same purse; they are all unique.
