A new tool in the toolbox for Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Tim Thompson said members of his department will now be utilizing the latest technology in laser scanning to document crash scenes and crime scenes. This week, select Deputy Sheriffs and Investigators were trained in the use of this equipment and it will now be deployed in the field.
“I would like to thank the Seneca County Board of Supervisors for their assistance in obtaining this critical equipment,” said Sheriff Thompson. “In January, we quickly realized that our existing equipment was no longer operational and needed immediate replacement. This new technology will allow our members to provide the best possible equipment to capture critical information when it is the most important. We strive to provide the very best service during those difficult times.”
