South Carolina women’s basketball has dominated the SEC, winning eight of the last 11 regular-season championships.  A poll of experts who cover the league for the USA TODAY Sports Network unanimously picked the Gamecocks to win the SEC regular-season championship for a fourth year in a row.

South Carolina went undefeated last season and won the national championship, and it returns all but one starter. The Gamecocks have swept the SEC titles for two straight seasons. They have won a combined 16 SEC titles since coach Dawn Staley took over the program in 2008.

SEC newcomers Texas and Oklahoma were picked to finish third and fourth, respectively, in their first season in the league. LSU, which won the 2023 national title, was picked to finish second.
