JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Search and Rescue (TCSAR) facility will receive some infrastructure updates this summer, following approval from the Board of County Commissioners on July 16 to contract Ridgeline Excavation Inc.

The Search and Rescue facility is located off of WY22, less than a half-mile from the intersection of WY22 and US89. It houses the search and rescue equipment including the helicopter and is the base for TCSAR’s 39 volunteers.

The infrastructure improvements include grading and parking improvements and connection to the Town’s water and sewer mains, which include about 300 lineal feet of water service piping and 320 lineal feet of sewer service piping. The project is slated for completion ahead of Nov. 1.

Ridgeline Excavation, Inc., based in Jackson, was the sole bidder on the project at $501,989.80.

Funding for the project was included in the Engineering’s FY25 budget for $450,000. At the meeting on Tuesday, the Commissioners agreed to amend the budget to include the increased contract amount and added $25,000 for Jorgensen Associates to perform survey staking and utility testing verification. The total budget for the project is now at $525,000.
