Joining a host of exciting new consumer announcements from this year’s annual Google I/O conference, the developer-focused event was loaded with new AI-related products and services. Google Cloud is loaded with free tier products for developers and the place where much of its latest in AI tech will be and is are already available, including Google Cloud Vertex AI with Gemini models, Firestore, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, and more, alongside the usual Cloud Storage. Alongside the ability to get started with Google Cloud FREE, you can also now score the usual $300 in FREE credits alongside a bonus $50 in credit and FREE usage of the 20+ products it offers. Joining the extra $50 in credit, there are three ways to get started for FREE. Just note that once you actually click through to the Try Google Cloud for free page, you will see $350 credit for free – “Put Google Cloud to work with $350 in credit to spend over the next 90 days.” 

  • New customers get $350 in free credit to try Google Cloud products and build a proof of concept. You won’t be charged until you activate your full paid account.
  • Apply your $300 free credit toward deploying Google-recommended pre-built solutions, such as a dynamic website, load-balanced VM, three tier web app, and more.
  • Get free usage of AI APIs, Compute Engine, BigQuery, and other popular products up to monthly limits—not charged against your $300 free credit.
