SLINGER — Slinger Village President Scott Stortz announced Thursday that the village is working with Sagewind Development and Fireside MARKET, both subsidiaries of Potawatomi Ventures, to bring Fireside MARKET to Merchant Village, the brand-new 130-acre development from Three Leaf Partners.
According to a news release, Fireside MARKET is a food-forward, modern market that prioritizes meeting the needs of the community with technology-driven offerings and made-to-order, high-quality food. The future Slinger location will also offer a hearth and home experience to give a community feel to people enjoying meals at the store, as well as electric vehicle chargers, green space, diesel fuel and more.
“We are pleased to welcome Fireside MARKET and the Forest County Potawatomi Community to Merchant Village,” Alex Rexrode, vice president of Three Leaf Partners, said in the release. “Their commitment to quality, community and the environment are unparalleled. We are honored they selected Merchant Village as one of their first locations throughout the Milwaukee metro. They will serve as a perfect complement to the variety of uses that will call the development home.”
The Fireside MARKET will become one of the first locations in southeastern Wisconsin, as well as one of the first businesses to occupy Merchant Village, which is currently under construction.

We’ll play an important role in supporting and nourishing those working on the site and we aim to be a place where ultimately, parents can get a healthy, high-quality meal for their family, and seniors will gather to connect with friends over coffee around our fireplace.”
The Fireside MARKET will be developed by Sagewind Development on a 5.1-acre plot in Merchant Village. They hope to break ground on the project this fall, with a targeted opening of summer 2025.
