HARTLAND — Another option for a tasty meal has opened in Hartland: S3 Deli.
It’s named after the three main items the deli offers (soups, sandwiches and salads), S3 at 131 E. Capitol Drive. Ylli Berisha, owner of Sweet Dreams in Hartland, partnered with Matt Ballantyne on the venture. Ballantyne, who has been in the restaurant industry for about 20 years, said he wanted to find an opportunity to “open up something for myself.”
“We are filling a gap that Hartland does not have; Hartland does not have any quick-service lunch options,” Ballantyne said, adding that ideally it will take about five to seven minutes from ordering to when a person is eating their food.
Sandwiches are served hot or cold and soups are homemade. S3 Deli will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, as well as offer catering for events.
