Overnight attacks by Russian drones damaged energy infrastructure in Ukraine’s Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kyiv regions, Ukrenergo, the country’s electricity operator, said on Thursday.

Ukrainian energy company DTEK wrote that the Russian military had struck one of its thermal power stations, injuring three employees and causing severe damage to the facility. A high-voltage power line damaged by the Russian drone strike on the Kyiv region was being repaired, it added.

The Ukrainian Air Force said that a total of nine missiles and 27 Shahed drones had attacked the country overnight, adding that five of the missiles and all the drones had been shot down.

In Russia, a fire that broke out at an oil depot in the North Caucasus republic of Adygea after it was struck by a drone was successfully extinguished, the republic’s head, Murat Kumpilov, said.

In the Tambov region, an oil tank at the Platonov oil depot caught fire, Governor Maxim Yegorov said. Telegram news channel Mash said the attack had involved at least three drones.

Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said that an attack on the town of Slavyansk-on-Kuban in the southern Russian region had destroyed a private house and killed one local woman.
