3 things to know if you share information with Crime Stoppers
Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana allows Indianapolis residents to share anonymous tips with law enforcement.
An attempted robbery landed a suspect in critical condition after police say the person targeted shot him in the Trader’s Point shopping complex on the city’s northwest side early Wednesday.
Two other suspects in the robbery ran away after the shooting.
At 5:41 a.m. Tuesday, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police were dispatched to the 5700 block of W 86th Street about a person shot. Once there officers learned that three suspects attempted to rob two people.
One of those people was armed and shot one of the suspects. Both are cooperating with the police, according to a news release from the department.
A knife was also located and taken into evidence, according to police.
