Fredonia wrapped up pool play with a 5-1 record after beating Dunkirk 10-0 in District 38 Non-Sanctioned 8-10 All-Star action Thursday. Fredonia, the Area A No. 1 seed, will take on Gowanda, the Area B No. 2 seed, in next week’s semifinals. The other semifinal will feature Area B No. 1 seed Falconer taking on Area A No. 2 seed Dunkirk. Bruno Muscarella threw a five-inning shutout, allowing two walks and one hit with nine strikeouts. The offense was charged by Dominic Carapella with a triple and double, Carter long with two hits, Sebastian Cerrie with two hits and Muscarella with two hits, including a double. Tyler Kuras led the defense and had the lone hit for Dunkirk.
