Richard P. Cramer

Born on September 8, 1959, in Jamestown, NY, Rick was the son of Marilyn (Crosby) Cramer-Easton and the late Paul Cramer. Raised by Marilyn and Alvin Easton. He married his soulmate, Debbra Pierce, on October 1, 1977, at the United Methodist Church in Westfield, NY, and together they shared 46 years of love and partnership.

Rick’s family was his greatest joy. He was the proud father of two sons, Gregory (Shannon) Cramer and Douglas (Nicole) Cramer, both of Fredonia, and the loving grandfather of Cassandra, Alexander, and Lucas. He also leaves behind his brother John (Sarah) Easton, sisters Judy (Carol) Cramer, Jill (Tim) Raynor, and Jennifer (Shawn) O’Donnell, along with many nieces and nephews.

After graduating from Westfield Academy and Central School in 1977, Rick began his career at Culligan Water Conditioning in Fredonia, NY, a family-owned business he eventually led as owner and operator. For over four decades, Rick served his community with dedication, finding immense joy in helping others. He was always ready with a smile and a helping hand, known for his kindness and generosity.

Outside of work, Rick was passionate about maintaining his property, gardening, and enjoying nature. His sharp wit and sense of humor brought light to every situation. Yet, nothing made him happier than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Rick’s warmth, humor, and unwavering commitment to those he loved will be deeply missed. His legacy of kindness and community spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, NY. In keeping with Rick’s generous nature, flowers will be gratefully declined. Instead, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
