VANCOUVER – USA News Group – The ongoing massive uptake of global artificial intelligence (AI) adoption is boosting efficiency and innovation across sectors, according to a new study from McKinsey. Within the study was the revelation that global AI adoption now surpasses 70%, dramatically up from just 50% in 2023. Another survey from Gartner found that generative AI is now the most frequently deployed form of AI deployed in the enterprise. Under the hood, tech developers are tirelessly working to secure and deliver the necessary supplies and infrastructure to ensure a seamless integration of AI into enterprise operations. This includes groundbreaking advancements from groups such as Avant Technologies Inc. (OTCQB: AVAI), Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PANW), Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC), Arista Networks, Inc. (NYSE: ANET), and Oracle Corporation (NYSE: ORCL).

Avant Technologies Inc. (OTCQB: AVAI), a leader in generative AI innovation, has been refining its flagship product, Avant AI™. Known for its advanced machine and deep learning capabilities, this versatile AI system is applicable across various industries. Building on this progress, Avant has signed a Binding Letter of Intent (BLOI) with Flow Wave, LLC (FW), a Florida-based leader in immersible computer server development. This agreement enables Avant to acquire up to 50 cutting-edge immersible computer servers from FW in a deal worth $50 million.

Avant’s revolutionary AI software platform is poised to transform the landscape of data center management,” said William Hisey, CEO of Avant. “By integrating proprietary machine learning algorithms with open-source innovations into these servers, Avant is developing a highly intelligent system designed to optimize resource allocation, enhance performance, and drive unprecedented levels of efficiency and automation. This marks the beginning of a new era for Avant Technologies, positioning us at the forefront of the supercomputer-driven data center industry and setting new standards for managing and storing AI applications.”

Flow Wave Immersible AI Supercomputer Servers deliver unmatched compute performance, making them ideal for intensive AI and machine learning tasks with their superior processing power. This results in faster and more efficient data analysis. The advanced immersion cooling technology they use significantly reduces energy consumption, translating into substantial cost savings and a smaller carbon footprint. Their compact and sleek design makes them perfect for data centers with limited space or those looking to optimize existing infrastructure, as they are easier to transport and install. Additionally, the immersible design improves hardware longevity and reliability, minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.

Avant plans to address the complex challenges of the digital era by acquiring up to 50 high-performance immersible computer servers from Flow Wave. These state-of-the-art servers feature immersion cooling technology, which greatly enhances compute performance and energy efficiency. This partnership reflects Avant’s commitment to delivering top-tier AI infrastructure solutions and optimizing operational efficiencies. Further details about the transaction will be revealed once a definitive agreement is finalized.

After purchasing the QRadar cybersecurity cloud software, global cybersecurity leader Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PANW) is moving forward with the seller (IBM) to jointly provide AI-powered security offerings. As per their partnership, IBM will deliver security consulting services across Palo Alto Networks products, with Palo Alto incorporating IBM’s watsonx large language models (LLMs) in Cortex XSIAM to deliver additional Precision AI solutions. Palo Alto has agreed to acquire IBM’s QRadar Software as a Service (SaaS) assets, with the two companies set to offer seamless migration for QRadar customers to Cortex XSIAM.

“The security industry is at an inflection point where AI will transform businesses and deliver outcomes not seen before,” said Nikesh Arora, Chairman and CEO, Palo Alto Networks. “It’s a moment to accelerate growth and innovation. Together with IBM, we will capitalize on this trend, combining our leading security solutions with IBM’s pioneering watsonx AI platform and premier services to drive the future of security platformization with complete, AI-powered, secure-by-design offerings.”

While it was still under IBM in April 2023, QRadar underwent a significant update, integrating its threat detection, investigation, and response tools into a cloud-based platform for corporate security teams. Meanwhile, as the lesser-known of the two, Palo Alto’s XSIAM tool, an AI and automation-powered platform designed to help security teams identify and respond to threats.

Seeking to retake market share back from chipmaking giants Nvidia and AMD, U.S. chipmaker Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) recently announced new AI chips for data centers, through its Xeon 6 processor, which will deliver better performance and power efficiency for high-intensity data center workloads as compared with its predecessor.

“Customers are looking for high performance, cost-effective gen AI training and inferencing solutions,” said Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel. “They want choice. They want open software and hardware solutions and time to market solutions at dramatically lower TCOs [total cost of ownership].”

On top of that, Intel has also revealed its next laptop chip coming this fall, dubbed Lunar Lake, which is said to be a complete overhaul of the laptop chip design, and will ditch memory sticks.

In late May, Arista Networks, Inc. (NYSE: ANET) announced—in collaboration with Nvidia—a technology demonstration of AI Data Centers in order to align compute and network domains as a single managed AI entity. To build optimal generative AI networks with reduced job completion times, customers can uniformly configure, manage, and monitor AI clusters across essential components such as networks, NICs, and servers. This marks the initial step toward creating a multi-vendor, interoperable ecosystem that facilitates seamless control and coordination between AI networking and AI compute infrastructure.

“This remote AI agent, hosted directly on an Nvidia BlueField-3 SuperNIC or running on the server and collecting telemetry from the SuperNIC, allows EOS, on the network switch, to configure, monitor, and debug network problems on the server, ensuring end-to-end network configuration and QoS consistency,” said Jayshree Ullal, CEO of Arista. “The remote agent deployed on the AI NIC/ server transforms the switch to become the epicenter of the AI network to configure, monitor and debug problems on the AI Hosts and GPUs. This allows a singular and uniform point of control and visibility. Leveraging the remote agent, configuration consistency including end-to-end traffic tuning can be ensured as a single homogenous entity.”

Helping its users to execute important vector searches in less than two minutes, Oracle Corporation (NYSE: ORCL) recently announced new AI innovations in the latest release of its Oracle APEX low-code development platform, enabling natural language-based development of enterprise applications. Oracle APEX simplifies the development process by replacing complex traditional coding with a declarative approach, allowing developers to create and deploy mission-critical enterprise applications up to 20x faster with 100x less code. As the platform of choice for over 850,000 developers worldwide, Oracle APEX has facilitated the creation of more than 21 million applications across various industries.

“As a developer and someone who writes SQL every day, I know how challenging it can be to remember table names, column names, and syntax I don’t frequently use,” said Mike Hichwa, Senior Vice President, Software Development of Oracle. “Having an AI assistant to determine column names contextually, JOINS, and generate complex syntax is a real game changer. Best of all, I can use plain natural language, such as ‘show me all pink T-shirts in size large left over from the most recent shipments to our Kansas City and Wichita locations’ and the APEX AI Assistant will automate that for me, and show me the precise results.”

The new APEX AI Assistant streamlines application development, enabling developers to quickly create feature-rich, mission-critical applications at scale. Using natural language prompts, developers can specify desired capabilities and components, automatically generate SQL statements, perform one-click debug corrections, and add a conversational interface effortlessly. This eliminates the need to remember table names. Oracle APEX, fully supported and available at no cost, is a feature of Oracle Database and all Oracle Database services, including Oracle Autonomous Database, which developers can try for free.
