Popular Santa Rosa shopping center gets new general manager

Must read

There’s a new person at the helm of Montgomery Village in Santa Rosa as Kris Miller assumes oversight of the open-air shopping center.

“I believe my extensive experience working in hospitality, restaurants, wineries, and retail will provide a unique and fresh perspective at The Village,” Miller said via email. “Being a long-time resident of Sonoma County, Montgomery Village has always been a go-to destination for me.”

Miller has more than two decades of hospitality industry experience. He was previously the director of hospitality at Ram’s Gate Winery in Sonoma and before that held positions with Jackson Family Wines, the Neiman Marcus Group and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

He moved to Sonoma County 12 years ago and looks “forward to continuing the momentum the former general manager and WS Development have brought to this beloved property.”

“I want to continue introducing local, regional, and national brands to Montgomery Village while also preserving the familiar elements of The Village that everyone loves,” Miller said. “My goal is to create a destination that people truly love to spend time at.”
