Police arrest 3 in Summerville shopping center shooting

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) – Three men have been arrested in connection with a May shooting that left one person critically injured, authorities said.

Camden Johnson, 18, 24-year-old Kamden Middleton and 20-year-old Emmanuel Brown are all charged with attempted murder, Summerville Police said. Johnson is also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Officers responded to the parking lot of the Ladson Oakbrook Shopping Center around 8:40 p.m. May 29 for a shooting.

Lt. Shaun Tumbleston said officers found a victim shot one time in the neck. The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition by EMS.

All three men were being held in the Dorchester County Detention Center pending bond hearings.
