Pisces Season Encourages Us All to Rest and Reflect. What to Expect Based on Your Sign

Must read

And so, we arrive at the beginning of the end. The last zodiac season is upon us. Attempting to explain Pisces (or Pisces season) is like trying to will yourself to fall asleep: the more you chase it, the more elusive it becomes. As the grand finale of the zodiac, Pisces asks us to embrace the final, often most difficult, lessons of the spiritual experience, our relationship to the unknown, and to the uncontrollable dimensions of being human. Though Pisces, as the concluding sign, transcends the self, it is still profoundly personal, connecting us to an identity that is divine through a spirituality that exists beyond dogma, doctrine, and religious trauma.

So let me say this: Everyone will experience and understand Pisces differently because there are as many expressions of divinity as there are moments in time. Your relationship to this sign is yours and yours alone. With this idea in mind, I’d love for you to ask your higher power — only if you feel moved — to help you understand your relationship with the divine this month. Then pay close attention to the synchronicities that appear to come out of nowhere all month long. My hope is that when you begin to understand through this practice how you are far more supported in the unknown than you realize, you will begin to have an experience of Pisces. Because again, Pisces can’t be explained, but it can be experienced individually. And when it comes to explanation of the spiritual, it means nothing compared to a direct experience with it. So this is your friendly reminder to return to a spiritual practice, especially in these unprecedented times.

This Pisces season begins with a New Moon on February 27, an opening into the unseen. This lunation is an invitation to loosen your grip on what must be known and trust the flow of what simply is. It is a time to set intentions that aren’t rigid goals but living prayers — whispers to the universe that are felt more than spoken. It’s a reminder that faith doesn’t require proof, only presence.

Two weeks later, the lunar eclipse in Virgo on March 14 will bring these visions down to earth. If the New Moon in Pisces dissolves boundaries, the Lunar Eclipse in Virgo weaves them back together through daily rituals, small acts of care, and the devotion of tending to the present moment. Virgo teaches us that spiritual work is not always grand or mystical but often found in the repetition of simple, necessary tasks: chop wood, carry water. It reminds us that well-being is not an abstract ideal but the sum of quiet, repeated choices. It is through these acts — small, unassuming, and intentional — that we reclaim our power.
