The Lindsay Museum and Gallery is hosting a special exhibit featuring the community’s pioneering businesses.
The pioneer business people of Lindsay left a lasting legacy of enterprise and buildings. Through the photographer’s lens there’s tangible evidence of businesses that came and went during the first 50 years of progress.
Also, ephemeral evidence such as receipts, record books, etc. help to give more accurate insight into those entrepreneurs. Included in the exhibit is memorabilia from businesses that have served Lindsay for decades, many still in operation. Which ones do you remember? Which long-running businesses do you still frequent? Which is part of enduring memories for you and your family and friends?
The Lindsay Museum and Gallery is open to the public on Fridays from noon to 4 p.m., free of charge. All are invited to view this special exhibit, which will on display through the winter months. For more information contact Pam at 559-310-4109 or lindsaymuseumandgallery@gmail.com
