Personnel moves at Entergy, Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Institute, Pennington

Elizabeth Adams has been named chief customer officer for Entergy.

Adams joined the company in 2015 and has held a variety of jobs across the legal, innovation and operations department. She most recently served as vice president of system planning and operations. Before joining Entergy, Adams practiced law in private firms in Louisiana and Texas where she focused on public utility law.

She earned a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Notre Dame, a law degree from Notre Dame Law School and a master of laws in environmental law, energy law and international arbitration from the University of Texas.

Baton Rouge

Connie P. Fabré has been named president and CEO of the Louisiana Construction Education Foundation.

Fabré serves as president and CEO of the Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance, which will function as the managing organization of LCEF.

Aligning the two organizations will provide new opportunities to fund educational programs in construction.

The Louisiana Construction Education Foundation was founded in 2009 and has donated more than $1 million, including $100,000 in scholarships through the Jump Start Construction Connect Scholars. Jump Start puts students in full-time construction training programs the summer or fall after they earn a high school diploma.

Jackie M. Marve has joined Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson as of counsel.

Marve’s practice is devoted to environmental law. She spent more than 33 years with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, handling complex permit matters and litigation.

She earned a law degree from Southern University Law Center. Marve has taught courses on environmental hazards at LSU’s College of the Coast and Environment.

Dr. Thomas Marsden has joined Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Institute as a thoracic surgeon.

Marsden sees patients at Lake thoracic clinics in Baton Rouge and Gonzales. He also performs surgeries at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and Our Lady of the Lake Ascension.

He earned a bachelor’s from LSU and a medical degree from LSU School of Medicine-Shreveport. Marsden completed his cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Kentucky-Lexington.

Gabi Bonvillain has been hired as director of sponsored projects for Pennington Biomedical Research Center.

Bonvillain most recently served as manager of research services at the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
