The Operational Technology Information Sharing and Analysis Center (OT-ISAC), managed by GRF Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd, announced on Tuesday a partnership with ThreatGEN, a provider of cybersecurity simulation solutions. This collaboration aims to enhance cybersecurity resilience among OT-ISAC members through innovative training opportunities.

Additionally, ThreatGEN will offer a discount on its cybersecurity simulation products to OT-ISAC members until Sept. 31, 2025. The services offered by OT-ISAC through ThreatGEN underscore both organizations’ commitment to strengthening the cybersecurity posture of critical infrastructure sectors in the Asia-Pacific region.

The partnership was highlighted during a successful workshop held on August 24, 2024. The workshop featured AJ Eserjose, regional director at OT-ISAC, who showcased ThreatGEN’s AutoTableTop, an AI-powered incident response exercise platform. This session provided attendees with hands-on experience leveraging latest technology to simulate and manage cybersecurity incidents effectively.

Key Highlights of the Partnership:

  • Exclusive Discount: OT-ISAC members receive a discount on ThreatGEN’s cybersecurity simulation products until September 31, 2025.
  • Innovative Training: OT-ISAC-hosted workshops featuring ThreatGEN’s AutoTableTop product will provide members with practical insights into managing cybersecurity threats.
  • Enhanced Collaboration: The partnership aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among critical infrastructure entities within the Asia-Pacific region.

“We are thrilled to partner with ThreatGEN to offer our members access to state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions,” said John Lee, managing director of OT-ISAC. “This partnership equips our members with essential tools and knowledge to safeguard their operations.”

Clint Bodungen, president of ThreatGEN, added, “Our collaboration with OT-ISAC represents a significant step forward in delivering impactful cybersecurity training and resources. We are committed to supporting OT-ISAC members in building robust defenses against evolving cyber threats.”

In October, ThreatGEN announced that Defend-OT, a Belgium-based operational technology (OT) cybersecurity firm, has joined its partner program at the Gold level. The partnership aims to enhance cybersecurity preparedness and incident response capabilities for organizations across the Benelux region. As a Gold partner, Defend-OT will have exclusive rights to resell ThreatGEN’s products in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
