One Stop Systems (OSS), a rugged AI-enabled solution provider, announced a $2M order from an award-winning AI infrastructure company.

The order includes 100 pieces of PCIe expansion units, specifically 50 Ponto Reef compute accelerators and 50 Gen5 4UPro Accelerator Systems. Shipments are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025, with completion by the end of the year.

OSS’s products will support Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure (CDI) for various applications including generative AI, machine learning and high-performance computing.

“We are excited to leverage our best-in-class PCIe capabilities to support a new commercial customer in the CDI and data center market,” commented Mike Knowles, OSS President and CEO. “For this relationship, we developed an industry-first PCIe 5.0 expansion system, product named Ponto Reef, supporting up to 32 PCIe Accelerator Devices in a single chassis, enabling a best-in-class, high-density solution to serve GenAI/ML, HPC, visualization and data science applications. The CDI and data center market is evolving rapidly, requiring new solutions that can provide the performance necessary for the highest and most demanding compute needs. We believe our PCIe expertise and leading technologies are well positioned to support the growing requirements of the CDI and data center market.”

The Ponto Reef system is an industry-first PCIe 5.0 expansion system that supports up to 32 accelerator devices in one chassis. OSS aims to leverage its PCIe capabilities to meet the evolving demands of the CDI and data center market.

OSS anticipates follow-on orders from this customer in the coming years, indicating a strong business relationship.
