Seven Daughters of the American Revolution representing three Western New York Daughters of the American Revolution Chapters — Benjamin Prescott Chapter of Fredonia, Jamestown Chapter of Jamestown and the Benjamin Bosworth Chapter of Silver Creek — and six descendants, and one guest came together with the daughters on July 26 to celebrate the life and service of Maxine Titus Fitzgerald at the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Fitzgerald was a 60-year member of the Benjamin Prescott Chapter of the NSDAR. It was a true honor for all to place a DAR flag holder at her gravesite. May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply cared for and appreciated.
